Letter to a River Town Restaurant
A restaurant can always educate taste and manners!
I was saddened to witness the dissatisfaction of patrons at an adjacent table, when I was in the midst of enjoying carrot coriander soup, pork apple burger, raspberry cheese cake, and sparkling Elderflower cordial.
How unfortunate the patrons suffered their meal in silence before discharging their displeasure.
Perhaps the lesson is: be prompt, but carefully polite, if you're not satisfied.
With thanks and my best wishes.

The reflection for the day, the Feast of Saint Elisabeth of Portugal, was:
Amate pacem.

Love peace.
